Midwest Grappling Championship

The first Midwest Grappling Championship was held April 19th at Meremac Community Collage in St. Louis, Mo.  It was a great success with over 85 competitors, including Collegiate wrestling All Americans Tyron Woodley, Josh Sampo, Andrew Sanchez,  BJJ Brown belts Jon Menke and Brazilian Mike Rethmeyer, and IFL standout Jake Ellenberger.  Schools that were represented at the event were, Grappling Concepts, Berger mma, CMMA, 21st Century MMA, Eagles Fitness, McVickers, SCR Boxing, American Top team, and Vaghi affiliates from St. Charles, North Broadway, Omaha Nebraska, Minneapolis Min, Appleton Wis,and  Ofallon Il,  Look for another event coming in October or November.
